Access to Customer Tenants¶
You can grant users on your Enclave Partner Portal account access to your customer tenants.
Granting Access¶
There are two ways to grant access to customer tenants:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Partner users are existing Enclave accounts with access to the Enclave Partner Portal, and can be selected from the dropdown to be granted access to a customer's tenant. | |
| External users are users who don't already have access to the Enclave Partner Portal. Enter an email address to send an invitation. The recipient must register an Enclave account (if they don't already have one) before they can accept the invitation and access the customer's tenant. Pending invitations can be cancelled at any time. |
Revoking Access¶
To revoke access, select the remove option next to the user. Removing a Partner User revokes their access to that customer's tenant but does not remove them from your Enclave Partner Portal account. Pending invitations that have not yet been accepted can be cancelled in the same way. At least one user must have access to every customer tenant - if Automatically Add Partner Users is enabled, you must disable it before you can remove individual users.
Granting all partner portal users access to a customer's tenant¶
The Automatically Add Partner Users toggle controls whether all members of your Enclave Partner Portal account are automatically granted access to a specific customer tenant.
When enabled
- All current members of your Enclave Partner Portal account are granted access to the customer tenant immediately.
- Any new user added to your Enclave Partner Portal account in the future is automatically granted access to this customer tenant.
- Individual access assignments are replaced - you cannot selectively remove a single user while this setting is active.
When disabled
- New users added to your Enclave Partner Portal account are no longer granted access to the customer tenant automatically.
- Users who were previously granted access retain it, but can now be individually added or removed.
- You return to manual control over which users have access to this customer tenant.
This is useful in smaller teams where all users are handling all customers. In larger teams where different members are assigned to different customers, manual assignment may be preferable.
