Gradient MSP Integration¶
Enclave integrates with Gradient MSP to automate billing reconciliation. Gradient's Synthesize platform pulls your Enclave customer data directly, matching invoiced amounts against actual usage so you can feed accurate numbers into your PSA (Professional Services Automation) tool.
The integration is one-way and read-only - Gradient can view your customer list and usage data, but cannot make changes to your Enclave account.
What data Gradient can access¶
When the integration is active, Gradient can read:
- Customer names
- System and gateway counts per customer
- Billing status (trial, paying)
No other data - such as policies, enrolled system details, or network configuration - is shared.
Setting up the integration¶
The Gradient integration page is available at Integrations > Gradient MSP in the Partner Portal. Only users with the Owner or Admin role can configure the integration.
- Select Generate API Key. The key is displayed once - copy it immediately along with your Partner ID (shown on the same page).
- Provide both the API key and Partner ID to your Gradient MSP contact.
- Gradient will configure their end using these credentials.
Once active, the integration page shows when the key was created and when it was last used by Gradient.
Regenerating or revoking the key¶
- Regenerate - creates a new API key and immediately invalidates the previous one. Gradient will lose access until you provide them with the new key.
- Revoke - deletes the API key entirely. Gradient loses all access until you generate a new key and share it.
Both actions take effect immediately. There is no grace period on the old key.
Note
If you regenerate or revoke the key, coordinate with your Gradient MSP contact to avoid gaps in billing reconciliation data.
